Hiya!
Seeing is what I do, at least most of my time. Not only do I see with my eyes, but also with my imagination and memories. I dwell in the past, present, and future to reach a sweet spot that lingers in my heart. I don’t know the coordinates of that spot, yet I know the direction that leads there. My artworks are my directions, and they are dynamic. All I know is when I reach there, I overflow with ecstasy, every time. When this sweet spot transcends to another life in paths where I had never traveled, it brings immense joy from unexpected sources.
The Story
In a world bombarded with a perennial flow of motion images, I am in love with still images. When I see images that touch my soul, it feels like gliding through time while experiencing Doppler’s red shift. I relish the process of bringing life to visuals through light. On a broader continuum, I explore the limitless possibilities of thoughts and perceptions via a mirage of fine arts.
'The Better Love' project is my breakthrough in focusing on one passion, one love, amongst many others that I equally adore. It also coincides with my journey from zero to one and towards infinity. "Zero" defines the time when I started my visual journey from scratch, and "one" marks a steadfast space of equilibrium. The point towards infinity is in progress, and my journey towards there feels thrilling and intimidating contemporaneously. There is a basket of disjointed dots along the way that float through the memories of my life. Only time can connect them, and I am in no hurry.
In this journey of continuous exploration, awareness towards my better love has been my North Star. Initially, I fiddled, trimmed, and eliminated my distractions significantly, yet I found myself left with a few that cannot be ignored. That’s when I learned to streamline my distractions and transcend them to be my tailwinds instead of wrestling with them head-on. In fact, that’s exactly what I want to open up to the world. If this project’s work has to be summed up in three words, I would say it as “Focus among distractions.” That’s what 'The Better Love' implies: a focus towards one passion, one love, among a multitude of other loves that we adore simultaneously, without compromising on any of them. In my case, that’s making art, which is my better love. A moment of serendipity happens when others can superimpose their better love onto my artworks and be in sync with them whenever they look at them.
My relentless quest for this project is to create visual tools that assist people in touching their soul’s true love while cherishing the many other loves that they equally adore. After all, human minds think in terms of visuals. Let's make them vivid and frabjous.
